Founded by Rob Hango-Zada and William On in 2014, Shippit emerged when the two best friends shared their respective frustration with their delivery experiences. They soon discovered their experience was one of millions of missed deliveries each year which came at a cost to consumers, couriers and retailers.
In anticipation of the rise of online retail and therefore the mission critical need for modern fulfilment capabilities, they set out to streamline and simplify the order fulfilment process with the goal to exponentially improve the consumer logisitic experience while doing so in a way that’s sustainable for the industry. Today, Shippit supports over 4,000 modern retailers including Sephora, Sephora, Target, Big W, Cotton On and Temple & Webster across the APAC region.
In 2017, Aura led the first-ever institutional investment in Shippit. Since then, Aura has participated in every subsequent financing round. After reshaping the domestic logistics market in Australia, Aura has remained as active advisors to Shippit as they expand their vision into South-East Asia.
